Here’s the recap for the last of the four press conferences of E3 2014. Sony didn’t disappoint (except all the people who were expecting to see something related to The Last Guardian,) since the company revealed new trailers, gameplay demos, games, pieces of hardware and so on.

  • A new trailer for Destiny was shown. On July 17th, PlayStation players will have access to the beta. Additionally, the PlayStation 4 version of the game will have exclusive in-game content, such as maps.
  • The Order 1886 received a new trailer.
  • Sony announced Entwined, a game where you control two characters at the same time by using the analog sticks. The PlayStation 4 version is available now for $9.99 and features Cross-Buy. PlayStation 3 and Vita versions are coming soon.
  • InFamous Second Son will receive a stand-alone DLC called First Light where you control a female protagonist. The DLC is coming in August, 2014.
  • Little Big Planet 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4 and the game looks charming as hell. LBP3 has more depth, new power-ups and there will be some new characters with special abilities. The new characters are called Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop. The game’s coming this November and levels from Little Big Planet and Little Big Planet 2 will be compatible Little Big Planet 3.
  • From Software revealed their new game via a trailer. Bloodborne is coming in 2015.
  • A gameplay demo for Far Cry 4 was shown during the press conference. Sony announced that PlayStation 3 and 4 players will be able to invite friends to play the game even if they don’t own it.

  • YouTube is coming to PlayStation 4. Through this application, players will be able to upload video to their YouTube channels.
  • The PlayStation Vita TV is coming to North America. The new platform will be available for $99 or in a $139 bundle that comes with a DualShock 3, a PlayStation Vita TV, an HDMI cable, an 8 GB stick and the The Lego Movie Videogame.
  • Both a trailer and gameplay demo for Mortal Kombat X were shown during the press conference.
  • Sony announced Powers, the first original series exclusive on PlayStation 4. Powers will be available for free for American users in November.
  • A trailer for Ratchet & Clank: The Movie was shown. The movie is coming to theaters in 2015. Additionally, Sony announced that a remake of the original Ratchet & Clank is coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2015.

  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a cryptic new trailer.
  • Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation 4 in summer. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (!) players will be able to import their progress to the upcoming version.
  • A gameplay demo for Batman: Arkham Knight was shown.
  • Finally, Sony announced Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game’s coming to PS4 in 2015.

As you can see, Sony’s press conference was amazing. It’s a shame that they didn’t show The Last Guardian, since a lot of people were expecting some sort of reference to the game, but at least they showed a variety of new games and most of them look absolutely outstanding.
