Some of you might have heard that Final Fantasy XV is coming to the PC with extra content, but Square Enix recently announced that those who have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One won’t be left out, since the company announced Royal Edition. Both Royal Edition for consoles and Windows Edition for PC feature the base game, the season pass (Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and the multiplayer campaign known as Comrades,) as well as an extra dungeon, first-person mode, a controllable boat and other bonus items, such as weapons, cars skins and more.
Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition will be available for $50, but if you already have the standard version of the game and want to upgrade, there’s a $20 option. Both Royal Edition and the upgrade pack launch on March 6th.
The Windows Edition, which is coming to Steam, Origin and Windows 10, gets exclusive features in the form of native 4K, HDR10, Dolby Atmos and mod support. Those interested in getting the PC version should check out the system requirements below.
